With a generous grant from The Lattner Family Foundation, the public spaces in the Lanphear Livery were completed in the Spring of 2017. In the Atrium, informative displays depicting the history of the Lanphear Livery and its restoration were developed by Richard C. Youngken. Beautiful photographs of iconic wildlife on Napatree and people enjoying the conservation area are also displayed. State-of-the-art audio-visual technology was designed and installed in the Chaplin B. Barnes Reading Room and the Harborside Patio. Chairs and tables to accommodate a variety of event formats were purchased. The public spaces in the Lanphear Livery are a truly wonderful community resource and received extensive use in its opening summer of 2017.
